This article uses the term frontotemporal disorders to refer to changes in behavior and thinking that are caused by underlying brain diseases collectively called frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD). 2021-02-15 Frontotemporal dementia (FTD) is a group of disorders that result from damage to the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain.
